Must play catch up.

Wednesday was my chicken day. I spent a chunk of Wednesday just at home bumming it. Like totally bumming it. At one point I spent two hours lying down on the floor by my dog. Eventually I met up with Rose and Alicia and we chilled at the Brea Mall for a little bit. We window shopped yadda yadda yadda and we decided to eat at Church's. Well, I decided to eat at Church's and they came along. After that Alicia jammed out cause she was sick and me and Rose were gonna watch Salt with Chels but ended up hanging out instead. Justin met up with us and we ended up at Alondra's Hot Wings in Montebello. That shit was bomb. We just ate there and played some truth or dare. Herpes and skivvies later we jammed out, brought Rose home and me, Chels, and Justin talked a bit more at Del Taco before calling it a night.

Thursday, which was yesterday, was a little more productive and by productive i mean not productive at all. I did wash my car though, that was the productive part. After that I met up with Desiree and we got some lunch at One World. I was scared shitless eating there cause...dude...it's me. I eat meat on meat on meat. I surprisingly liked One World, and great company helped too. Me and Des just ate and talked about everything and anything, it felt great catching up with her. After we ate at One World, we went over to Coffee Break to see if Sana was working, but he wasn't. It was worth a shot. After that little spur of the moment stop, I dropped off Desi at her place and I went home to take a nap. It was a good several hour nap with some MW2 time in there but I ended up going out with Rose, Alicia, and Justin for some Alondra's...again. We chilled and ate and eventually made our way back to AMC to watch Expendables. It's not a perfect movie, but it is a good movie to watch with the bros. Definitely a Dude movie. After the movie I chilled with Wilson and the two Kevins before jamming out.

Food Run Review #11: Buffalo Wild Wings

Buffalo Wild Wings, why must you have so much wasted potential? It's definitely a good place top hang out and chill with the bros. The sauce selection is really good. It also has a pretty decent beer selection. The main problem that I have with it is, and it's pretty major, it doesn't really shine in any one category. I've had better wings, I've been where there's a better beer selection, and I've been where there's a better ambiance. Not to take anything away from this place, it's a blast to be there with friends, but nothing really makes me say "wow" here. Also sometimes the food comes out cold to the table. That's a pretty big deal to me. It happens rarely but it happens more often than it should. Keep trying Bdub, you can be so much better.

Food Run Review #10: Furaibo

Furaibo...I expected more out of you. I got the Yakitori and was disappointed. Yeah it was good, but more was needed. I had a hard time understanding the waitress, but that was to be expected by the area and the ambiance of the locale. But aside from that, their beer selection was horribly limited. The food that I had was decent but not spectacular. Price was affordable. Two of us dined for abut $23 including tax and tip so it was a good price. It was worth trying but nothing too spectacular to me.

Food Run Review #9: In n Out

In n Out. One of my go to places. It never lets me down. It satisfies my hunger with its greasy portions of meat, cheese, and sauce. My usual is a Double Double animal style of course and animal fries. Basically anything animal style is godly. Just make it animal and you're good to go. They have a simple menu and a wide secret menu that you should figure out on your own. I dare you. But yea, they keep it simple and they make it the way it should be. Get a Four by Four if you're down. Get an Eight by Eight if you're daring. Get anything higher if you want a heart attack. Boy are the heart attacks worth it...not that I know. Go here and go here often.

Hey...stop!

Today was pretty good. Started out the day by waking up to Alicia's texts and we decided to meet up to get some grubbage. We met up at the AMC lot and she decided to drive...I wont turn that down hahaha and we ended up trying to hit up this one asian place that was on yelp but turns out it was closed. We ended up hitting up Furaibo or whatever that place in called. I had the Yakitori set and it was pretty decent. It got kinda weird after a while though so I stopped eating it. Me and Alicia just chilled talking for a while and we went to Vons for a beer run...more specifically Blue Moon and Shock Top...I approve of the selection, but between you and me...it could have been better hahaha. Anyways, she had plans with her friends so we parted ways back at the lot. I ended up staying in the lot for a while talking to several people that came through. First it was Brandon Flores cause he was on his break. then Hernan as he was leaving. We ended up talking for a ling while. Geoff came through, as did Heather. Eventually I just went inside and got ready to start my shift. Went in...eventually started working...long day alone....alone...and ate mozzarella sticks on my break and eventually got out of work. I met up with the two Kevins, Chan's buddy, Anne, and Wilson at Bdub after work. I didn't order anything cause I wasn't hungry but I did have 2 tall glasses of Guinness. We talked and chilled for a good while, felt like old times when i went more regularly and it was a good choice going. Eventually we jammed home and here I am now.

Stupidity

Today started out as a bum day but ended up pretty fun. I just stayed at home for most of the earlier part of the day and even ended up at my grandma’s house to run some errands with my mother. After that I jammed to AMC to meet up with Rose and Hope. We talked for a bit and decided to pick up Alex and met up with Justin at Banana Bay. We ate there and I got the BBQ Chicken like I always do and a lemonade. Too poor for beer right now. After that we decided to jam out the AMC lot where we started to roller blade and longboard. We ended up at the Costco lot and did the same thing there and add in shopping cart riding and spinning. That was exhausting and we ended up at In n Out where we ate some more. I had a Double Double with animal fries and lemonade. While we were there we played truth or dare with my Incredible and those was freakishly entertaining. That continued into the parking lot and eventually we ended up at the usual lot where we ran into Chels and Carissa before everyone jammed out…simple yet satisfying.

Food Run Review #8: Coffee Break

Coffee break. I've eaten here many time cause my buddy's fam owns it and it's never let me down. I usually get the Eel and a Lemon Slush those have never let me down. I'm not too keen on the menu, but everything that I've tried has been yum so far. The curry was good, the sizzling platters are good, the aforementioned eel, etc, etc, etc. It's a small place and parking isn't really an issue, but of course I've never been there during the lunch rush when all the people from Mt. Sac go eat. I've always gone either at the dinner time or during the weekends. No complaints here, and it's a definitely must try and revisit. Good day.

REWIND!

Saturday was mainly work day. Met up with Rose and Alicia for a little bit. Alicia didn't stick around and jammed home, and Rose and I went to Coffee Break to get some Unagi. I had the Unagi and a Lemon Slush like I usually did and it was as usual, good. After that we Foursquared a little bit and I bought a car charger and case for my Incredible and eventually we ended up working. Good usher group that day. Me, Eric, Rose, Geoff for a bit hahaha. Chill day with sore legs. It's all good. After work I was starving but there was nothing to eat. I ended up just staying up thinking about what to get so long that I got too lazy to get anything. I ended my night with a dinner for Oaked Arrogant Bastards and Stella Artois.

Sunday was more of the same. I started the morning by watching The Other Guys with Alicia and then going to the food court cause she was hungry. I just chilled with her before going our separate ways. I went home to change real quick and came back to AMC to work. Apparently I started at 1 instead of 2 so I was an hour late, but they were cutting hours so it worked out pretty well. Ushered with Lida, Charlie, Allen, and Hernan. Chill day. Got home and passed out right away. C'est la vie.

Bones Season 1

My sister got me into the show Bones. The first season isn't as polished as the other ones that I start out watching, but it's a good introduction into the show. Deschanel plays Brennan pretty damn well. She seems to be separated from the rest of the world, like she's couped up into her work to avoid the realities that bother her, mainly the disappearance of her parents when she was 15. Boreanaz plays Booth and he's pretty much the opposite from Brennan. He is the normal, everyday guy...more or less. He focuses on his work to appease his conscience. He used to be a Ranger sniper and he wants to catch as many criminals as individuals he killed in combat. Both main characters have their own reasons to focus on their work, but what makes the show so great is the banter that goes on between the two of them. Their differing personality traits just create a great oil and water type thing. As different as they are they need each other and are driven by each other. I wish there was more of an overall story arch instead of the evolution of Brennan's character to tie the whole season together, but the episodic nature also works well for this type of show where an entire case or mystery is solved within a single episode.

Sappy but heartwarming

Food Run Review #7: Denny's

It's 2 am...you just got out of the club and you are hungry...it's 2 am and you just got off work and you wanna get some grub...it's 3 am and you're still studying and you want some more energy...where do you go? You go to Denny's, at least I do. This one is a decent place to eat and you'll get what you expect. I only go really late so the late night crew recognizes me and know my usual order. They are nice people and if you know what to expect, they'll meet your expectations. Nothing special, but nothing disappointing.

Stone India Pale Ale

Stone India Pale Ale is one amazing brew. it pours out a moderately clear golden tint with a small white head with slight lacing. The aroma smells strongly of hops which is definitely expected considering the type of beer. A slight malt aroma is also present but plays a secondary role to the hops. The flavor is tiered. It begins with a malt flavor, moderately sweet that quickly gets passed up by the bite of the  hops. It's a pretty floral beer and it works well with the light body. It all works together it create and strongly flavored IPA with a great bitter bite throughout. Great brew.

Boring

Today was simple and boring. I went to work and ushered with Charlie and eventually with Carissa and Christina. After work I went home and just bummed it. Slept, cut my hair, activated my Incredible...and watched Bones. Fuck.

Impromptu all nighter

Yesterday was surprising. I woke up to a text from Alicia wanting to chill so we met up. We got some Albertos to grub on and we were going to watch The Kids Are Allright in Covina, but it started too late and I had work, so we haul ass to Puente but got stuck in traffic on Azuza cause of the construction. Because of that we missed the first half hour of the movie, so we ended up watching 500 Days of Summer in the breakroom while eating out meal before moving onto the mall. We find the claw machine game with the South Park characters and we get a little addicted. It continued to Tilt and eventually I had to leave her to go to work. There I was, at work, not wanting to work, but at work nonetheless. I ushered with JT and Andrew Mota ran with us for a while. It was the same old situation with work, nothing new or exciting there. I close usher, got out, and Alicia and I decide to meet up again to watch Hangover at her place. I grab some beers and head over. I get there and we start up Hangover and about halfway through the movie Caydie joins us too. Somewhere in there we hit up Del Taco, chatroulette'ed, meatspinned, BME Pain Olympic'd, and watched...per se...She's Out of My League and Disturbia. Eventually Caydie knocked the fuck out so me and Alicia played a little bit of Wii...which I sucked at...except for the beer pong game which I dominated. But yea...I love Alicia's dog despite his deafness lol. Played with him alot especially after he grew a liking to me. That was my day...I just woke up to start this one.

Food Run Review #6: Albertos

Albertos Albertos Albertos. What can I really say about you? You are always open. You are always affordable. You are always delicious. You always give great sized portions. You are only outdoor seating. You never take credit cards. You are never a healthy alternative. You are basically a go to late night food run or a cheap yet unhealthy alternative. It’s great when the weather permits, but if it’s hot outside you might wanna look elsewhere. The food is great, especially the carne asada fries which is a great deal for the the size of the meal. Parking has never been a problem for me. I personally love this place and it’s a great place to eat if you’re in the mood for Mexican.

I smell like smoke and chlorine

Today was exhausting. I woke up late and was almost late for work, but I got there in time. The downside is that I didn't get a chance to shower so I still smelled like smoke and chlorine from Justin's place the night/morning before. I felt gross. Anyways....it was a slow day at work...to be expected out of a weekday. I ushered alone for the first part and then I was joined by Christina. Time passed by so slowly cause I was just exhausted still and i was just meh. Work was just the basics. After I got off I talked to Caydie for a while to burn some time for her and cause I didn't really want to go home. Eventually I met up with Alicia for a quick bite to eat before she started studying for her exams. We hit up Tommy's and I just had a chili cheeseburger and chili cheese fries with a lemonade. As usual they were great. We ate and talked for a while, good times and we jammed out after we finished. She went home, I went home...and I thought my pillow was talking to me for a while. That's when i decided that I was indeed physically and mentally tired. Showered, tumblr'd and now I'm going to watch some Bones to wear me down some more...thank you for reading and please return to my boring ass blog about nothing in particular. Good day chaps.

Food Run Review #5: Tommy's

High fat…high calorie…high cholesterol…high everything bad…and most importantly…high in flavor. Tommy’s is delicious. The house where chili is kept is a guilty pleasure. Whether it be for a quick food run, late night grub out, or just a standalone meal, Tommy’s will make you feel guilty for eating it yet it’ll make you happy you are there. It’s open 24 hours, never closes, parking is never really an issue despite its small size, and it’s just a great place to get a quick bite. Basically anything with the chili is bomb. Chili dog good. Chili cheeseburger good. Chili hamburger good. Chili cheese fries good. Chili alone good. If it has chili order it…if it comes from Tommy’s eat it. Good pricing and good food makes for a great grub station. Eat here.

Food Run Review #4: Milk

Milk is definitely a place that I would visit again, and again, and again. I’ve had the original drumstick and the Triple Chocoalte Shake there and they were nothing less than spectacular. It looks unassuming from the front, but don’t let it fool you, it’s a great place. I never really come here for the food, I usually come here for the dessert cause that’s where it shines. There’s usually a pretty large to moderate line and parking can be a tough cookie cause it’s basically street parking, but if you can get passed that, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the quality of desserts here.

Food Run Review #3: Banana Bay

Oh Banana Bay (Colima and Fullerton), how you have fallen. Alright this Banana Bay was horrible. I mean, the food was good and is on par with what they usually serve as a franchise, but the quality of the service and the cleanliness was completely abysmal. My friend has hair in her dish, the waitress was rude, and the other waiters didn’t pay attention to anything. We felt ignored and annoyed. The waiter that picked up the check didn’t understand simple instructions and it was just frustrating. The glassware was pretty disappointing too. They were spotty and generally not well washed or maintained. Overall taste wise it was decent, but as a food establishment I’m surprised how they stay in business. This place is crap and I don’t really understand why people tolerate such mediocrity from them.

Your life is an inspirational movie

Today was pretty packed. I started out the day by going to work in the morning to open usher. I worked until 6 then I met up with Caydie and Alicia to grub out. We hit up Banana Bay on Colima and I had the That Chicken BBQ like I usually get at Thai places. It was good, but the service was pretty crappy. This place is gonna get a beating on Yelp. Anyways after that we decide to get some dessert and what better place to get dessert than Milk? So we jam over there and I get the Original Drumstick and we head over to Swingers where we ate the ice cream and Caydie got her own grubbage. After that we jam out back home and an idiot cop intervened and just put a downer on the night. Fuckin' pigs. Anyways, we head over to Vons to get some shit for the fire and we go to Justins where we spent a bulk of the night just chilling, swimming, and munching on smores until the sun came up. Overall it was a good day, but the cop was just a godddamn downer that it just put a bad aura around the good shit.

Arrogant Bastard Ale

Arrogant Bastard Ale...are you worthy? Well, most of us aren't but luckily I'm part of the group that loves this brew. Pours out a nice deep red color with a slight haziness to it with a nice sizable head with good retention and strong lacing. I loved that aspect of the beer. The aroma was great as well. Mostly malts and hops with a slight pine and citrus component in the background. It's flavor is what you would expect from an Arrogant, it has a dry bitter taste offered by the hops on a low carbonated body and dry finish although it's not the smoothest beer but it's still shines. Amazing.

Food Run Review #2: Osunas Restaurant

Small place full of good food and nice people. It’s off in the corner of the plaza where Albertsons is and you can just perceive it as just a regular joint and just blow it off. That would be a mistake. I eat here from time to time and it’s never let me down. Their fish tacos are amazing. Their burritos are large and delicious. I usually get the fish tacos but today I got the lobster burrito and lobster taco and they were great. Pricing is great, expect the $9 to $15 price range for most items and about $3 per taco which too are pretty sizable. You wont be disappointed in this place.

Food Run Review #1: Walnut Liquorette

Looks can be deceiving. From the outside the Walnut Liquorette looks just like a regular liquor store, but when you go in and see the beer selection, you will be floored. The selection rivals if not surpasses that of Bevmo and they are all hand selected by the owner. You get the standard beers you would usually find at any other liquor stores, but you will find some of the beers that are very tough to find. Craft and specialty beers are here and in great quantity. Prices range from the standard prices of regular beers to higher end pricing for beers like Lost Abbey which run about $18 for 12 oz. Most fall in the $6-9 range so it’s still quite affordable if you’re willing to pay for quality. If you like drinks, this is the place to go.

Charlie St. Cloud

Charlie St. Cloud was a surprising movie for me. I didn't expect to like it but I did. Given the plot is kind of a stretch...you'll understand when you watch it...and Effron's character isn't the brightest fish in the pond but the raw emotions just worked and Effron surprisingly pulled it off. Sweeping vistas and beautiful waters are aplenty and so are some cheesy moments but it comes together to create a good chick flick. Given I'm not the best judge for chick flicks but this is one that I kinda enjoyed.

Dinner for Schmucks

I loved Dinner for Schmucks. I've seen it twice already and it didn't lose any appeal. It's so retarded, slightly offensive if you're the sensitive type, and just funny if you go into it with a sense of humor and a willingness to watch. Rudd and Carell work well together in this movie and they shine. Yea it kind of gets off to a slow-ish start and the actual dinner is just a taste of what could have been, but the trip to get to that final destination was a blast. It's full of idiotic moments, cheap laughs, and just plain stupidity but it works for what it is. It doesn't try to be something that it's not. Watch it.

Avery Mephistopheles Stout

Avery Mephistopheles Stout. Pours a deep black color with a thin brown head. It has the aroma of coffee interlaced with molasses and brown sugar. Smells amazing I might add. You can definitely smell the alcohol in the brew as well, but it isn't overpowering at all. The taste is resplendent. It tastes somewhat sweet. Slight notes of cherry, molasses and raisins. It has a creamy body that holds the flavors very well and the very light carbonation compliments everything very well. Amazing beer.

Toy Story 3

Toy Story 3. Get the fuck out of the way children I've been waiting 11 years for this movie to come out. Was it worth the wait? Fuck yea it was. I saw most of the movie a while back but I never got to finish it until recently. It's such a great movie. It's the best animated, if not the best movie so far this year. It's a great homage to the old movies and it's a perfect send off for the franchise. The cast is back, the magic is back, and the greatness justifiably follows. It's perfect. Suspense, laughs, tears, everything you can want is here...reminds me of my childhood. To infinity and beyond...

Salt

Salt was a decent movie, but I wouldn't really say it was that good. It has good action, some good scenes in it, some witty sequences, but ultimately it doesn't really shine on its own. Jolie seems to be trying to hard in this and doesn't capture any sort of footing during the movie. It ends up feeling like a James Bond rehash before it even gets going. She shows her age in certain scenes, the plot is full of holes, and worst of all it has an open ending leaving room for a sequel. Does it need a sequel? No. Tries to hard but fails. It does succeed as a decent summer action flick though. Barely worth the price of admission.

St. John!

Today started out as a bum day. I woke up and basically laid in my room for several hours in the heat. I just surfed the net for a while and started to talk to Kevin and Alicia online. Yea, my home life is pretty sad. After a while of webbing I met up with Kevin and we watched Dinner With Schmucks which was, obviously, hilarious. It's as good the second time as it was the first time. But yea, after that me and Kev went to Osunas cause I was craving Mexican food after I devoured several chimichangas earlier in the day. I spent money, per se, at Osunas. I got the lobster burrito and a lobster taco. Those were freakin' delicious. Great size too; they filled me up pretty well. It was great catching up with Kev cause I hadn't seen him in a while cause of work and life in general. I brought him back to his car at AMC and that was the end of that man date. I hit up Alicia and we decide to watch Charlie St. Cloud. I was surprised how much I liked the movie. Hell, i didn't even really know what it was about, but I liked it. So yea, we watched the movie and parted ways after. That was basically what I did today. I'm full....

Jackass 2.5

Jackass 2.5 is retarded but hilarious. These skits are basically the ones that didn't make it into Jackass Number 2 and you can see why. Not the best skits but definitely not the worst. The cast is hilarious, the stunts are hilarious, this is just another fun ride from the boys. If you liked Jackass, Wildboyz, or Viva La Bam you will like this, if not, get the fuck out.

Fat Tire

This pours out a light copper color and has a sweet malty aroma to it. It also has a thick head that's very frothy which caught me off guard. It's quite bready and the hops are easily evident in the bitter bite. There isn't much to say about this beer cause it's pretty simple. Enjoyable but not astounding.

Avery The beast Grand Cru Ale

This is an amazing beer. It surprisingly smooth considering it's 15% abv.  The first thing you really notice is the aroma. It definitely has a strong alcohol aroma to it but is followed by sweet notes of honey, malt, and brown sugar. It pours a dark ruby color with a medium head. It has a thick body that holds the flavors amazingly well. It tastes sweet up front from what seems to be honey and molasses, somewhat fruity and it sits on your tongue very well. It's very rich in body and flavor and ends with a tartness and slight burn. This is simply an amazing beer.

Lindemans Pomme Lambic

This beer pours out a slightly hazy golden color with a green tint to it but didn't really have a head to speak of. It had the aroma of a sour green apple, similar to the candies that most people are familiar with. The flavor is what you expect it to be, the same sour apple that the aroma suggests and this feels more like a sour apple soda than a beer. It's still very flavorful and I thought it was delicious, but again, it's more like a soda than a beer.

Wittekerke Rosé also known as Wittekerke Framboise

Pours out a pink color, almost red with a light pink head. The head has good volume and retention. It smells strongly of raspberries. Not just not one variety of it, but several. It was fairly carbonated and has medium body and tastes very sweet. It opens up a mouthful of fruity, berries mainly. The sweetness carries through most of the beer and ends with a slight tartness. Not really my type of beer, but I enjoyed it.

Lindemans Péche Lambic

This was a nice beer. It pours out a hazy light gold color with a pretty decent white head that has pretty good retention. I didn't notice any real lacing though. It has a sweet flavor, obviously primarily peach, but also has a slight funk to it as well as a slight sweet yeastiness. The mild carbonation brings it together nicely and reminds me of a fruit champagne. You don't taste the alcohol at all but that's to be expected cause it's only 2.5% abv. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this beer.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

The Sorcerer's Apprentice, this is a summer movie through and through. It's shallow, obvious, sub par acting, but it's pretty entertaining nonetheless. What it lacks in greatness, or better yet, what it lacks in quality it makes up for in cheese. It's a damn cheesy movie, but it works. Disney is here and even pays homage to Fantasia. I don't see why they made this movie, but they did. Meh overall but entertaining if you're in the mood. Rent it on dvd.

Inception

Inception. Stunning film. This is easily Nolan's best film yet and is a prime example of how a summer movie can be intelligent. The idea of the movie is simple, put an idea within someone mind through their dreams, but the execution is beautifully complex. One goal, one idea, several layers to go through. It's so cerebral that it picks at you the more you pick at it. Casting was, in my opinion, superb. DiCaprio did a fine job in the lead but as everyone already knows Gordon-Levitt stole the show. If 500 Days of Summer didn't already put him in the limelight, this movie did. (I do hate all the Gordon-Levitt bandwagoners though, most of them haven't even seen Brick, which I think is the role that broke him out of his Third Rock from the Sun typecast) But yea, the supporting cast also did a superb job in the flick. Nolan's hand is evident in the film as you see many shots that was strikingly similar to his past movies *cough* Dark Knight *cough*. The same can be said with much of the tone and mood. This is definitely a Nolan movie, you will know it when you see it. Everything else like the visuals is top notch and you all already know it so there's no point in talking about it. My only real complain about the movie is the lack of character development, but I can see why that was done so meh, fuck it. Great movie....you already know that...so watch it again.

Schmucks and Wings

Today was another simple day done right for me. I woke up to my parents yelling and screaming at each other which was fucking annoying so I stayed in my room for hours until I took a shower and so fourth. Had herb roasted chicken for lunch ish and after a while I ended up hanging out with Alicia. We almost went to Joanna's BBQ but we called her and she said is probably isn't worth the drive by the time we started to go so we just decided to make a beer run instead cause it was kind of on the way but not really. We also decided to basically watch Dinner with Schmucks so we start hitting everyone up but only Brandon Perez was free and down to watch with us. So yea, there were are the Liquorette and I get an Avery and a 6 pack of Blue Moons and those are a great combo. Then we watched the movie, me, Alicia, and Brandon, and damn...that was a downright funny, hilarious, simply great movie. I loved it! Score another great comedy for Paul Rudd. So yea, lol the three of us go to Wingstop for a quick meal and me and Alicia share the 15 piece combo where she got a Lemon Pepper and I got the Hickory Smoked BBQ. Those were delicious as usual. It totally brought a smile on my face eating at Wingstop cause come on...it's fuckin' Wingstop. We go back to AMC to watch Cats and Dogs but we ended up missing the movie cause we just started to talk in the lobby and talked a bit too much and lost track of time. It's all good though. We talked and talked and eventually we decided to jam out. Brandon's ride showed up, I brought Alicia back to her place, and life continued. Good day.

Guitars...Beach...Food...Life

Yesterday was a day for San Antonio. I had to bail on Alicia and hanging out with her cause San Antonio was doing a last minute dinner type thing before he went back to Irvine and thankfully she understood. So my day started by trying to plan out a dinner totally last minute and he and I met up to discuss the details. We ended up discussing it at Sam Ash cause he needed to pick up some new strings for his guitar. One thing led to another...no homo...and we ended up playing guitars in the acoustic room at Sam Ash. He taught me some chords...they didn't stick but it was a good time. We randomly decide to go to the beach to finish up planning the dinner so we jam out the Huntington beach for no real reason at all. We got there, parked in the residential area type thing and went straight to Rocco's pizza where we shared the special with me getting a jalapeño pizza and him getting the Hawaiian. He thought it was bomb...and I already knew it was the bomb. We gorged on Rocco's then chilled at the pier cause we were way too overdressed to go onto the sand much less the water, but it was still a laxing experience. We even came up with plans to go fishing and camping soon. So down. Anyways...on the way back to the car we watched a dude ride a 12 foot unicycle which ended with him not falling so meh and we drove back to west co and went to Upland to pick up Joanna. Came back and went to Boiling Crap but the line was waaaaay too long so we all ended up at Fridays. The people that ended up going were me, San Antonio, Joanna, Josie, Sana, and Josie's friend Roseanne. I had the JD Ribs which were great as usual, but it didn't fill me up at all. A lot of laughs later we decided to go to the asian district and pick up some stinky tofu...which is my new nemesis. I blast and dance to Lady Gaga...freaking out innocent bystanders and having a blast doin it and we get some stinky tofu and jam out to San Antonio's pad. We eat the stinky tofu there...and by we eat i meant San Antonio ate it, Joanna quit, and Roseanne and I struggle through it. More laughs and a persistent popsicle joke later Josie and Roseanne leave and the lasting three of us watch the rest of Se7en and some food channel until we too jammed out. We brought Joanna home and went our separate ways, but I was still awake so I watched some Bones and ate chips ahoy till i knocked out...that is my life...

Let Me In Redband

Let Me In…probably wont live up to the original, but hopefully it turns out great in its own right. So far it looks like it has potential to be a great movie. If you haven’t seen the original (Let the Right One In) watch it now!

Simplicity is key

Today was totally simple...I woke up moderately late and just chilled at home for a while before getting some Lee's Sandwiches with Alicia. After that we went to AMC to catch a screening of Schmucks or however you spell that but turns out they started it earlier so me, Alicia, and Ryan ended up watching Toy Story 3. I really liked that movie lol. After that Alicia jammed out and I went home where I ate and chilled before meeting up with Alicia again to get some art supplies at Michaels. I got a malleable eraser and a pack of pigment liners. We met up with Justin and went to Jimmy's and we talked there for a while. I finally got to see where he lives...it's not a log cabin...kinda made me sad but oh well. Jimmy had to get some rest so we jammed out and went to Justin's to have a fire and smores. We talked for a while...a set of farts...a much needed bro convo...and Gracie time later we jammed out. Simple night, but a good one nonetheless. Peace.

Let the Battle Begin!

Dude I’m so stoked for Halo Reach! This campaign trailer get me even more excited for this game…I bought the new 360 for this…lets make it happen!

Erase!

Alright I fell behind again. Tuesday was basically San Antonio’s bday celebration. It was pretty small and more intimate that it has been in the past but all is good. I woke up, got ready, and basically did an instant beer run where I picked up my usual drinking beers of Santa’s Little Helper and Shark Attack as well as an Avery The Beast. I chill at San Antonio’s crib where he had food and company and I just talked and chilled. I didn’t stop drinking the whole time and I was at a really good buzz by the time that Alicia stopped by. She chilled for a bit before jamming out, but once she left I kept drinking and eventually I got officially drunk. This is where everything kind of gets blurry and I don’t remember much. I do know at one point I was using the breathalyzer and I hit 0.22 which is pretty decent for me hahaha. Justin and Alicia pick me up to help me sober up and they bring me to Dennys for some more hilarity. That too was a blur to be honest but I think I did well. Justin drove me home in my car and so forth but yea.

Today, Wednesday, is the recovery day. I woke up so early today, but that’s to be expected. When I wake up with a hangover it’s usually early in the morning. When I woke up basically my stomach was fuuuuucked up. I immediately call up Justin and Rose and I meet up with Justin at Wingstop, but that was after a much  needed cigarette cause those seem to ease my stomach. But yea, after talked at Wignstop for a bit we pick up Rose and come back to be the first customers at the Industry Wingstop. I had my usual combo and it did not disappoint. It was as orgasmic as it usually was. After that the three of us go to AMC to see what was up with Shawn and to see if he was working but ended up talking to some of the peeps there. We jam out the Justin’s pad and we chill for a while and me and him started to jam out on guitars…boy do I suck at guitar. Yadda yadda yadda we decide to jam over to Victoria Gardens so we pick up Alicia really quick at her place and then we brought Caydie some Chipotle and then there we go to Victoria Gardens. We didn’t do much at VG…we just walked around for a while, used the bathroom and then we decide to hit up the beach…so we jam out to the beach.
The beach was as beautiful as usual and the first thing we did was hit up Rocco;s but they didn’t have a good selection of pizzas at the time so we went to the pier to walk it off a bit. It was cold and windy as fuck but with good company that all melts away into nothing. We made the most of the moment and talked as we experienced the ambiance of the environment. We soaked it all it and by the time we went back to Rocco’s I was hungry. I had the delicious mushroom pizza and an herb pizza. They were badass as expected and again…food did not disappoint.
After we ate we went down to the water. Me, Justin, and Alicia went in to the shallow part and chilled but Justin and Alicia decide to go all in, me and my tiny boxers weren’t down for that hahaha so I stayed out with Rose…yadda yadda yadda they come out freezing and me and Rose get the towels and we jam out. We ended up back at Justin’s house and basically we said fuck it let’s have a bonfire so we did. We made a quick Vons run for smores stuff and wood but it was all worth it as I also walked out with a fat tire. Ending the night by the fire is the life and after I brought Rose and Alicia back to their respective houses Justin and I watch Jackass 2.5 on xbox live to hilarious results…for a day that was supposed to be mainly recovery…I did a shitload. That is my life.

That was a coyote…I thought it was a little girl…

Alright, so I started the day off doing nothing. I literally sat on my ass for most of my awake day until I met up with Rose and Alicia in the evening. We went to the Wingstop near the mall but it was still closed…it opens on Wednesday! After that we went to Coldstone and had some icecream. I had the peanut butter one whatever its called and that was sooo good but as usual it hit me eventually. After that we pick up Justin and head over to Pinks to get some grub. We get there and we wait in line and the lines wasn’t that long. It was great timing i guess. But yea…I had the Hoff hotdog and that was delicious.
After we eat and talk at Pinks we took the long lonely road back home…but really it was just the 60 freeway. We take Rose back to her place and we then went to the 24 hour Subway in Fullerton where we basically raided the touchscreen soda machine. We pulled up chairs to the machine and started drinking away. First we drank each flavor one by one…then we mixed all the flavors together into one nasty brown stew. Then Justin had the smart idea to spin around in the parking lot…so me and Justin spin 30 times and you know how that turns out…then me, Justin and Alicia spin 45 times and you definitely know how that turns out…and then I drive to their places to drop them off…and guess what? Justin didn’t have his house keys…so we wait for like 45 minutes in front of his house waiting for him mom to wake up so he can get in. What an idiot…hahaha…I take Alicia home and that wasn’t as theatrical as Justin but everything can’t be that weird. That was my night…laters!

This is my night

So yea...

Worked concession yesterday…that was a bitch…i had to be on register but at least I had a good crew to back me up when I needed help. After work I met up with Alicia and we talked in the lot till Chelsea met up with us. We had dinner at Fridays and I had the 10 oz sirloin cooked rare as usual. That was yum. After that I talked to both of them in my car till Alicia jammed out to study and I talked more with Chels in the car…yadda yadda yadda…typical day but a good on nonetheless

Slightly behind

Alright…Friday I worked usher for a little while and was sent home cause of low attendance. After that I met up with Alicia and we went for a beer run to try some new beers. We got this fruity type beer which was really good. I also got an apple one and a peach one but they were corked. We then hit up AMC wand watched Salt. That movie was alright. A lot better than I expected. After that we met up with Rose and I got Wingstop for the family. I bring Rose home and met up with Justin and Ulysses and we go to the 24 hour Walmart where we messed around. We put on women’s clothes and just joked around the store.
Today….Saturday…I just worked usher. I was worn out from this whole week so I was shutting down. After work I talked to Ryan and Alex for a bit and kept Alicia company at Chipotle while she got her order. Other than that I did nothing. A family dispute and beer was my night along with Bones….such is life

She's a real girl!

Today was definitely a simple day, but totally jam packed. Basically I went to Magic with Rose, Hope, Justin, and Alicia. Great day. It was a day of soaking wet clothes, slapping and punching, wet willies, piggy back rides, pickles, food, food, and more food. We spent the whole day at Magic and after that we hit up Wingstop and The Hat. Exhausting day but totally worth it. Oh and my Incredible broke, but the day made up for it. I was in great company so it kept me from being too bummed.

Thursday, July 22, 2010

So damn Incredible!

Today was another good day. I woke up to a nice surprise. My phone came in the mail, so I started charging it and ran some errands with my mother. Yadda yadda yadda...came back home set up my phone and made my way to Best Buy to transfer my contacts. Yadda Yadda Yadda...play with it for a while and then i hit up BWW with Alicia where we shared 24 pieces of wings. That was basically my day...gotta rest up lol.

Wednesday, July 21, 2010

At least you guys are in the credits

Today was a busy day. I started out going to the DMV early in the morning for my sister. I went there to pay for her new license and after that I went home and was in and out of sleep for several hours. I them met up with Ryan and we went to Hooters to take advantage of the all you can eat wings. We spent a good amount of time there at Hooters and after that we made out way to AMC where we tried to figure out what to watch. Nothing came up so we just went to Gamestop for a little bit to browse but we ended up at AMC again. We ran into Alicia and her friends while we were going down the escalator and that was kind of a weird surprise. They go to watch Inception and me and Ryan went to watch Grown Ups again. We enjoyed the movie as expected and then went to Inception to catch the rest of it with Alicia and her friends. I enjoyed the end of Inception cause I got to see all the action without worrying about the story, so that's 3 and a half times watching the movie. We chilled at AMC for a while until Rose got out and we met up with Justin at his place where we talked, swam for a while, and talked for way too long. Many laughs, movie quotes, and words of inspiration later we jammed out and here I am now...C'est la vie

His is huge...

Today was a good day. Spent most of my awake time with Alicia today. Started out by picking up Rose and meeting up with Alicia at the lot. We hit up Wingstop and I had my usual combo. We ate and talked until I had to bring Rose to AMC cause she had to work today. So me and Alicia went to the Liquorette where I bought some Stella and an Angel's Share. We then went to Walmart to get some dark chocolate to eat with the Angel's Share cause Joe said that it goes best with dark chocolate. Boy was he right. Joe has yet to let me down, as does Lost Abbey in general. We also hit up Sorcerer's Apprentice at AMC. It was a pretty decent movie. A lot better than I expected it to be. After that we met up with Justin and we jam out to the the bowling alley but the wait was too long so we just talked and made ourselves dizzy. After some stupidity and a lot of talking we go back to the lot where we talked and acted stupid once more...and I mean A LOT of stupidity. We got hungry again and went to Del Taco where we had more laughs and more laughs. Great day today. Later!

The Lost Abbey The Angel’s Share

The Lost Abbey The Angel’s Share is amazing. It pours out a dark brown like cola. It has absolutely no head and has no carbonation. The aroma of was outstanding. It exudes brandy undertones with molasses, plum, and brown sugar. The flavor was more skewed towards raises, brandy, and caramel and this is definitely a sipper. Sip this beer through and through. It has a great body as well. You would think that the lack of carbonation would hurt the beer, but it doesn’t. It seems to work just fine in this brew. It’s a pretty strong beer at 11.5% abv, and I didn’t really notice the taste of the alcohol at all although it did have a slight burn as it was going down. Sip this while eating some dark chocolate type dessert and it’ll really shine. Again, this was simply an amazing drink.

Stella Artois

Stella Artois. This is what Heineken should be like. It pours out a clear yellow with a white head that settles and dissipates very quickly. It has a strong, very strong skunky aroma. It’s pretty intense. It has a slightly hoppy metallic flavor to it. It settles into a sweet undertone that the body carries somewhat well. This is a macro lager but it’s definitely one of the better ones on the market. If you like this sort of beers and are at a basic market, this would be one of the better choices. Overall it’s a decent beer that is marketed really well.

Blue Moon Honey Moon Summer Ale

Blue Moon Honey Moon Summer Ale. This is a seasonal ale that available during the summer. Most people have already tried the regular Blue Moons and this one doesn't live up to the original but I still enjoyed it. It pours out a ]yellow hue with a thin white head. Retention is quite mediocre. There wasn't much aroma to speak of but it did have a slight wheat aroma with a honey undertone. The flavor is similar to the smell but more so citrus and honey. The flavor is pretty balanced with the honey not being too sweet. It's quite enjoyable. It's quite refreshing although it is a simple beer. There isn't much complexity in the flavor at all. This is more a beer to drink rather than savoring. If you like Blue Moons give this a shot, but don't expect it to rock your world.

Tsingtao

Tsingtao beer. How can I say this nicely. It sucks. It's not the worst beer that I've had but it certainly isn't what I would call a good one. I'll start with the appearance. It's a clear golden yellow color. The head that is there is white, but there's barely any head to begin with and what is present has no retention. It has a hoppy aroma, but that in and of itself isn't too strong. It may have been the environment that I was in masking the aroma, but I doubt it. It has a thin body with a mild to low carbonation. The flavor was disappointing as well. It has a slight tint of malt but the thin body doesn't retain the flavor very well so it was mainly a bitter tasteless feel. Overall I hope that China has better beer than this because this is a total bust.

Naked in Newport

Well, not really. I started out my day by going to work in the morning. Had a good work day minus the exhaustion but I had a good crew working with me and the rest of the crew outside of the ushers was legit, so time went by pretty fast. After work I went home and ate  hot wings while going in and out of sleep until I finally met up with Rose and Kev. We did a lot of driving to nowhere in particular. 5 cities, a Church’s Chicken location, and several good laughs later we ended up at Krispy Kreme where I had some donuts and where we met up with Justin. We messed around in the parking lot for a while spinning and falling and Jimmy ended up there too. More spinning and Jimmy jammed out and I brought Kevin back to his pad. Me, Justin, and Rose then make a random ass trip to Newport. We checked out the locale, checked out the houses, and hit up Del taco where I had 11 tacos. I had to accept Justin’s challenge. Overall it was a basic day that turned into a great adventure. Gotta love random nights out.

Another day

Today was another basic day for me. Woke up late and went to work. After that I watched Inception again with Kevin, Chelsea, Caydie, and Carissa. That's basically all I did today. I started posting my theories and counter theories here lol

Inception and food with my girls

Today was a really good day. I started out the day waking up late and playing some MW2 with Brandon Flores and Eric Wilson. They play search and destroy which I suck at but it was still fun. After that I met up with Rose at AMC where we screened Inception. This movie is amazing. You guys gotta watch it now. I'll put up a review on it later on today or tomorrow cause I'm too tired to go into it now. But yea, after that we met up with Alicia and Caydie and we went to PFchang or whatever that place in called in Chino lol. I had the VIP Duck and it was legit. I also had this Chinese beer that I will post a review of later on again. We were there for quite a while then we head over to Walmart to get some snackage before the movie. We then make our way to AMC where we went to the midnight showing of Inception. It was amazing as usual and after that me, Caydie, and Alicia went to Denny's for sime grubbage. I had my usual FTS and we ended up just talked there for hours and hours. Basically the movie ended at 2:40...and we left Denny's after 6am. So yea...great day with my girls.

Thursday, July 15, 2010

FTS

Today was simple...woke up and went straight to work. I did hard count for the supers/managers with JT and Ryan and ushered later on in the night. After work I hung out with Kevin, Anne, her sis and friend...watch Despicable and then went to Denny's where I had my usual...decent day...now for some Bones! Oh yea...lost my phone for a while but found it eventually too...I almost freaked...

Newcastle Brown Ale

It pours out a brown color, almost like mahogany. It has no head but had good body. The aroma of roasted malt permeated the brew. The flavor was that of roasted malt, almost smokey and had a rich consistency. It had slight to mild carbonation that complimented both the flavor and the consistency of the beer. It also has a slight tartness to the end of the beer that went well with the rest of the experience. This is one of the better beers that's widely available at your local restaurant or joint.

Handled

Went to Sears with the mother for some quick shopping. I got new workshoes and she got a shirt or something and got some Church's on the way home. I crashed for about 6 hours. I woke up and I ate some more chicken and played some MW2 and Halo 3...some of it with Justin. Then I went to BWW with the usual group. I had the Ultimate Nachos and fried pickles and a New Castle. Now I'm here...gonna review the brew and watch some Bones.

Work'n'MW2

Today was totally simple. Woke up...went to work...I was supposed to be ticket drop but a turn of events made me into an usher...after work I talked with Jimmy, Justin, his buddy, and Carissa in the lot...went home...played MW2...watched Bones while I ate...and that's it...what a waste

Monday, July 12, 2010

BJ's Jeremiah Red

BJ's Jeremiah Red. This is the second BJ's beer that I had, and it was pretty decent. For the price it was ok, but could have been better. This beer pours out a deep copper color. It was also pretty transparent so it looked really nice. There was not really any head to it and what was there was minuscule and was an off white. The carbonation was pretty mild and the aroma was very faint. From what I can tell it had a sweet malt aroma but smells from the restaurant could have interfered. It has a fairly sweet flavor to it and the alcohol is evident up front. This is a fairly strong beer but the taste of the alcohol doesn't interfere with the flavor of the beer. This is a decent beer at BJ's and went well with the Classic Pizza.

Despicable Me

Despicable Me totally caught me off guard. I expected to enjoy the movie...but not this much. It was great. Even though I watched it alone because it was a screening, I was laughing and having a blast. Everything just worked well in the film. The length was neither too long nor too short, appeals to the children, and most importantly it appeals to adults as well. Adults will be able to appreciate the movie on a higher level which is always great in a kids movie. The voice acting is great but what makes the movie is the minions. They cracked me up the most. For being such simple characters, they add so much to the movie. The three orphans also add a ton to the film, especially the youngest one. this is an odd movie, but it works in its own way. Yea it might not be as polished as Pixar's movies, but this is definitely one of the animated children's films that I enjoyed the most. I urge you to watch this movie...NOW!

Great Weekend

Alright, so I really need to catch up on this again...I've been lagging on this recently. So Friday was my day off and it was also Caydie's birthday. I started off the day with Rose calling me to do an emergency screening to Despicable Me. I rushed to work and they sent me straight to house 5 to screen it. The sound screwed up at the end but all in all the screening went smoothly. After that I had some L&L with Rose where I had the Chicken Katsu regular size meal. After that I went home and crashed for several hours. When I woke up I basically did some Halo then picked up Carissa and Chelsea at Carissa's pad and then picked up Rose and we made out way to the Skate Express in Chino. We get there and we skate and had a good time. After that we hit up BJ's in West Co. I had the classic pizza small size and a Jeremiah Red. We talked for a long time after that. The next day was Saturday. I expected it to be a bad day at work but it went fine. Got off at 10 and went to Kiwi and Roo's place for Kiwi's bday. I had my beers and several drinks later I was done. I bring Rose home and I crash. I wake up early and my stomach was fucked up but i had to deal. Ate played MW2 and went to work where I was off my game for the first part of my shift but all came together at the end. After work I went over to Terra's pad and hung out with my sister and her group for a little. I came home...ate...MW2...and here I am now.

Nothing...just nothing

Today I woke up...helped my dad set up our new 3D TV and mount the old TV onto their bedroom wall...then played some Halo 3...then went to AMC to screen Predators with Kiwi and Ryan...then went to Walmart with Ryan to burn time...then picked up Sana...then went to In'n'out...had a double double...had a power outage...went to AMC to see the outage....hung out with Jimmy and Justin and Justin's buddy...then brought Ryan and Sana home...c'est la vie...

Predators

Predators is a good reboot of the franchise. After the abysmal AVP movies this goes back to the roots of Predator and brings back the jungle and testosterone filled bloodfest of the original. I was kinda disappointed with the movie because I had such high expectations for it, but I did walk out thoroughly entertained. It could have been bloodier, it could have been more testosteronie but that's just personal preference at this point. My biggest gripe about the movie is that it was freakishly simple. The previews set the stage and you just watch the events unfold. I'm not saying that there needs to be an intricate plot, but a little more substance would have been good...at least to me. Overall it was a good action movie. It's not the best but it's far from the worst. it's easily enjoyable and it's a movie that I would recommend. I love this franchise!

Oh gawd....

Awkward....

Top Sniper Season 2

Top Sniper Season 2 was a really good program. Given it's for the military buffs out there like myself and that anyone else would probably find this boring, it provides some great insight into the world of sniping. Throw away all that Modern Warfare quickscoping and the Halo 3 no scope bullshit. This is the real deal with stalking, estimations, humidity control, gravity, and all the other little intricacies that us civilians wouldn't know what to do with. The top snipers from around the world in one place, competing for the title of best sniper is here in this program and it's a sight to behold. Competitions from defensive positioning to sniping from a Blackhawk helicopter is accounted for. If you want to get to know the art and science of sniping catch this program cause it's a great way to get introduced to the art. I loved it.

Wingstop'n'Walmart

Alright…what started as a bum day actually became something strangely enough. I started out waking up and staying in bed for several hours just surfing around netflix for random shit to watch…but I ended up just watching The Hangover in bluray. After that I got in some good Halo 3 time and just did that for a bit before finding something to do. I met up with Chelsea at AMC and we picked up Carissa and Justin. We jam over to the Subway in Fullerton to check out the touch screen soda machine that is so damn cool. After that we hit up Wingstop baby!
I had the ten piece combo with the flavors being Original Hot and Lemon Pepper and the rest was my usual. After we ate we head back to AMC to wait for asian Kevin but that didn’t really pan out so we ended up chillin’ with Kiwi and Caydie for a little bit. Some skating and bladeing later Chels and Carissa go into Caydie’s car and I take Justin in mine and we head over to Walmart…the 24 hour one in Baldwin. On the way there me and Justin rock out to Rush…The Starting Line…no homo of course…Sugar Ray…etc…that was a good time. Then we were at Walmart.
Me and Justin did the usual fucking around in Walmart. A few bras, heels, Ironman masks, axes, and hula hoops later we were one out way out and i was taking people home…fuck cops…

The Hangover

Oh The Hangover...how I love you so. You're idiotic, you're classless, you're immature, you're ludicrous, and most importantly of all...you're down right hilarious. One of the best comedies I've ever seen. One of the movies I've repeatedly seen the most. One of the movies that brings the fondest memories ever. How can you go wrong with a tiger, Tyson, a baby, and a group of clashing yet interesting personalities? To be honest they could have royally screwed this movie up but it surprised everyone and turned into one of the funniest movies in the past couple years. There is no boring place in the movie; it's one outrageous scene to the next. The comedy never lets up from the hilarious antics of the cast to the little banter between them in the "lulls" between set pieces. This banter is where a lot of the best memories are in the movie. Everyone remembers the big scenes like the bloodbrothers moment and the tiger in the car, but people also remember the rétard and the sofa pizza. It never gets old. You have probably scene this movie already and I urge you to watch it again. If you haven't get a group of friends together and watch it cause as great it is to watch alone, it's exponentially better watching it in a group. One of my favorite movies of all time!

Widmer Hefeweizen

Widmer Hefeweizen was a decent beer, pretty good, but overall was pretty average...at most. It pours out a deep golden color with a really thick white head. The golden wasn't a clear color, it was kinda murky which is regular for a wheat ale. The retention was alright but nothing noteworthy. The aroma was that of wheat and slight citrus but that citrus could have easily been the lemon that was on the glass. It was a good aroma overall though. The flavor was what I expected out of it. It was a wheat heavy flavor with a slight citrus component to it. It was pretty carbonated and went down pretty smooth and had a light body. It's a pretty simple brew but definitely refreshing. I'd say it's a pretty mediocre beer on regards to the rest that I've drank, but a decent choice at your local restaurant or sports bar.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Alright today started off to a slow start. Woke up cause of the sun glaring down at me from my window and I instantly turned on my 360 and started watching TV shows and movies. I watched Super High Me and that's already been reviewed so I'll leave that at that. I played some Halo and then I went out to eat with my sister and parents for my dad's birthday. We hit up Osuna's and I had four fish tacos. Those were fuckin' bomb but the fish inside was alot bigger than I remembered....but I'm not complaining hahaha. After that I hit up AMC with Rose and we waited for Chelsea to get off work. We met up with a bunch of people at Buffalo Wild Wings. There was a grip of us there...it was me, Anne, Rose, the two Kevins, Alex, Mitchel, Wilson, Lida, Charlie, Ty, and a bunch of others that I can't really place...sorry if you're one of them. But yea, after eating we chilled outside for a bit before jamming out. I took Anne home and here I am now...in my boxers...typing...and talking to asian Kevin via facebook...no homo

Super High Me

Super High Me...I don't think you can appreciate this pseudo doc if you've never smoked. It's pretty simple...sober for a while and stoned for a while...kinda funny kinda stupid...definitely entertaining. You get snippets of his comedy routine put in there to good effect. Given this isn't the most though provoking or intelligent documentary, it's worth a watch if you know the cannabis world. Watch if you're interested skip if you aren't.

Cheeseecake and Bones

Yesterday was a mini reunion between me and several high school buddies. I spent the day with San Antonio, Josie, and Hernandez. We went over to Upland to chill with Hernandez and her fambam and we ended up going over to Victoria Gardens for lunch/dinner. We were planning on going to Friday's but ended up at Cheesecake Factory instead. I had the fried calamari and the kobe burger which was great but I got full and couldn't finish it. I'm not proud of that....I can eat...I'm disappointed in myself. But yea...after VG we went back to Hernandez's place and chilled there for a bit before jamming out. When I got home I was dead tired cause they woke me up early...so I just bummed it and watched Bones with my sister until I went to my room and watched netflix there and fell asleep.
